New box, new exhibit

I just finished my newest box, Victorian Roses, in time to send it to the "In Bloom" exhibit at the Jacqueline Casey Hudgens Center for the Arts in Duluth, GA.
The box does not contain a necklace but a journal and a pen. There is a small compartment inside the lid to keep "secrets". (I only have a couple of snapshots!)
"In Bloom" is an invitational exhibit featuring Steve Penley and will run from March 1 to May 12, 2012. For more information, visit www.thehudgens.org.

just paid a long-overdue visit to the folk art center and discovered your work and was instantly captivated . . . enough so that i've registered for your fabric pages workshop through quilt u and the quiltfest in johnson city, tn come july. i've been in rather a deep sleep for a while now - a fallow, i call it - just trying to keep moving when i'd really rather not. your work curled its finger at me, beckoning me out, and i thank you for that. looking forward to our paths crossing more via the classes in the ethers and on the ground.
